Calculiso ELM is a Windows desktop application built to calculate and generate clearance, creepage, and insulation values for electromechanical connectivity and maintenance. Developed to support Electrical CAD workflows in Creo and Mechatronics PCB design in Allegro, the application ensures all insulation coordination values meet the requirements of IEC 60664-1:2020+AMD1:2025 — covering electrical equipment operating up to 1,000V AC or 1,500V DC at altitudes up to 2,000m.

How it works

The engineer inputs the working voltage, pollution degree, overvoltage category, and altitude parameters into Calculiso ELM. The application processes these values against IEC 60664-1 requirements and instantly outputs the required clearance distances, creepage distances, and solid insulation specifications — ready to be referenced in Creo CAD designs or Allegro PCB layouts for compliance and safety validation.
